Captivating Capiz-Celebrates Sinadya sa Halaran in Roxas City


The City of Roxas, is once known as the capital City of the province of Capiz, and known as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines. During the 1st weekend of December Roxas City celebrates the Sinadya sa Halaran festival and its combine the celebration of the Patron of Virgin Mary Immaculate Conception. They have many activities that celebrates alike the Grand Parade, Mass that held in the public Plaza, 3 nights is the live band performing. The highlights is the solemn procession begins with the public letting afloat hundreds, or even thousands of candles covered with lights up the water for the entrance of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception.
After the procession night sky explodes with a grand fireworks display that all people enjoyed while watching. Roxas City, is one of the tourist pat because the food in Capiz and Roxas City is also living evidence of the Capiznon culture and tradition.
